General Shipping Procedures

You can Expect that your succulent(s) will receive our "White Glove Treatment" when packaging and shipping your plants. The plants are protected with recyclable paper products, packing peanuts, synthetic cotton and if necessary, other wrapping materials , or small cardboard boxes to protect fragile foliage.

Individual Plants and Collections (soft & hardy) are shipped fully rooted with no soil. The plants are shipped on the dry side to prevent rotting from occurring during shipment. All of our plants are easy to transplant when received.  Plants may be very slightly wilted upon arrival, but will recover rapidly upon receiving water and filtered light for the first 1-2 weeks so they can acclimate to your environment.  Loose/Broken leaves/petals are expected during shipping.  These leaves/petals can easily be used to propagate your succulent.

Summer Shipping

Most succulents experience their growing season in the Spring-Summer.. They might look stretched or faded when they arrive after spending multiple days in a dark shipping box. They will recover rapidly once removed from the box and gradually moved into sunshine over 1-2 weeks. If you need them to look perfect for a specific occasion or event upon arrival, we recommend using expedited shipping from mid-June through mid-September, due to the possibility of extreme heat conditions.  We will not be held responsible if your plant arrives extremely dehydrated or unsalvageable if DO NOT choose this shipping method when checking out. Thank you!

Winter Shipping

We do ship during the Winter Months.  Our nursery is located on the East Coast.  We do take all possible measures to protect the plants from freezing during shipping. However, temperatures can be highly unpredictable during the winter months usually from November to March.  We highly recommend adding a shipping warmer heat pack(s) when placing your order.  Please note Elevated Succulents will not be held responsible for cold damage to packages without a heat pack. You can request changes to your order up to one business day (24 hours) after order is placed. Once your order is summited and payment has been processed we cannot make any changes to your order.
