Yes, Elevated Succulents is a NYC DOE vendor and provides STEM-aligned enrichment workshops for schools and youth programs. Our workshops are designed to support educational objectives and complement classroom learning through engaging, hands-on activities that promote science and environmental awareness.

Yes, we work with a variety of schools and programs, including Title I schools and funded initiatives. We’re happy to collaborate to make our workshops accessible.

❓ What age groups do you serve?

We offer STEM planting workshops for Pre-K, elementary, middle school, and high school students. Each session is customized to align with age-appropriate learning standards, ensuring students at every level can engage with plant science, sustainability, and hands-on STEM concepts.

❓ Do you offer workshops at schools in NYC?

Yes, we provide on-site workshops at schools across New York City, including Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. We also work with after-school programs, summer camps, and community organizations throughout NYC. Our workshops typically run between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the group size and age level. We can also adjust timing to fit your school schedule or program needs.

❓ How many students can participate at once?

We can accommodate both small and large groups. For larger groups, we often break students into smaller sessions to ensure each participant receives hands-on guidance and a quality experience.

❓ Do students get to take their plants home?

Yes! Every student creates their own plant arrangement and takes it home, giving them a lasting connection to what they learned.

❓ Are your workshops suitable for classroom or assembly settings?

Our workshops are flexible and can be adapted for classrooms, small groups, or larger assembly-style sessions depending on your needs.

Yes! Our STEM planting workshops are fully customizable based on age group, curriculum needs, and seasonal themes. We adapt each session for elementary, middle, and high school students to ensure an engaging, age-appropriate experience. We also offer special themed workshops for holidays and events like: 100 Days of School Valentine's Day Spring Planting Mother's Day Grandparent's Day Easter Earth Day Indoor/Outdoor Field Days Graduation Summer Planting Fall Planting Winter Planting Family Night and other special holiday programs—making STEM learning fun, relevant, and memorable for students.  All of our workshops are unique, and each planting experience is designed to be different. We use a variety of pots and containers tailored to the specific event, season, or holiday - making every session fresh, engaging, and memorable for students, groups, and events.

❓ Can workshops be held indoors or outdoors?

Yes, our workshops can be held indoors or outdoors, depending on your space and preference. We adapt to your environment to ensure a smooth experience.

❓ How much space is needed for a workshop?

We require minimal space and can adapt to classrooms, cafeterias, or multipurpose rooms. We’ll work with your available setup.

❓ Do teachers need to be involved during the session?

Teachers are welcome to participate, but we lead the workshop and handle all instruction, making it easy for staff.

❓ How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like Spring and Earth Day. However, we’ll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when possible.

Setup and cleanup are quick and efficient. We handle everything to ensure minimal disruption to your schedule. ​
